Good place to stay for business or pleasure. Rooms are always clean. The receptionists are always professional, friendly and helpful if you require information etc.

Receptionist was clueless and hashed up my booking and was rude and lacked customer care. Also lack of daily room cleaning, I would probably avoid this one very poor.

Lovely stay slept very well at night time but no fault to the Travel lodge people outside were very noisy in the morning but the room / bed / and very clean was 100%

In town shops, pubs and food options nearby. Had a ground floor room in middle of summer and was pleasantly surprised to have air con that actually worked. Large parking area also 👍

I thought the carpet in passage way worn out. No where to get breakfast in morning. Pillows uncomfortable and no soap I Soap dispenser.

Dirty unclean room, needed a good vacuuming and deep clean, dust everywhere... Cleaners need to step up! Bring anti bac wipes if you should visit to clean up the dust and anti histamine tabs....

We use Travelodges quite a lot as they provide a decent place to sleep before continuing on a journey. Unfortunately our stay was marred slightly by a poorly closing window and evidence of previous occupation which cleaning staff had unfortunately not noticed.

This is the worst travel lodge I have stayed in. The service is terrible every member of staff I have encountered was miserable. The room is poor. The breakfast was a joke. The air con would not stay on and flashed al night . I could not wait to get out. DO NOT STAY here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Travelodge, Maldon, Essex and it was a great experience. From the moment I arrived (31/05-01/06/2024), the Receptionist went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Thank you (& sorry I can't remember your name) for taking care of us. The bathroom was spotless (thank you to the young lady cleaner). In fact, the whole room was spotless (again kudos to Hotel Management). The accommodation, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay really memorable. The hotel’s prime location (close to the pub for meals, McDonalds & a Retail Park), made exploring the area a breeze. I'd be happy to return to Travelodge on my next visit. I would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends. 👍

Very nice modern building with free parking.
Clair on reception was very friendly and made us most welcome .
Night life in the carpark of the shopping centre made interesting viewing with all sorts going on 🤣

This seems like a fairly new building, good water pressure in the shower but our water for the kettle was ugh! so we bought a bottle of water from one of the nearby shops.
It's on a retail estate so no problem if you have forgotten something.
Car parking is free and there is a Greggs attached to the building.

Rooms are clean. Bed not very comfortable and was well worn. Parking is free. No services are available on site. No staff available on site in the evening or overnight. Wondered what would happen in an emergency like a fire as I'm travelling with disabled partner.

Staff lovely, very friendly and welcoming, excellent location for us, just adjacent to retail park so quiet at night. Rooms could be cleaner, but mainly the small details like excessive dust on hinges in bathroom & shower sills etc, I'm old so I notice these things. Bedding etc all clean, did the job. A bed for the night 30 mins from where I needed to be the next day.

You don't go to Travelodge for obscene luxury. But we had a very comfortable and clean room, a great rate and we could take our dog so we were more than happy.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly so it made it a very nice stay.
A short distance away are some lovely walks to take your dog and there are lots of shops at the retail areas.
All in all we loved our stay, thank you 😍
